Wayne Gretzky Signed Tegata Actual Handprint Display LE 3/99 UDA Upper Deck

Spectacular and unusual tribute to the elite status of Wayne Gretzky as one of the world’s top athletes. This Tegata display is a Limited Edition out of /99 with each personally inked by The Great One; one of just five athletes so recognized by Upper Deck in this format. Originated as an innermost-circle keepsake which were only permitted to be created by elite Japanese Sumo wrestlers, this Tegata is done in the same style with Gretzky’s actual handprint in black ink on firm 9.5×10.5″ Hamada paperboard with his beautiful 10/10 signature crossing in silver Sharpie, numbered 3/99 and even his own Japanese inkan seal stamp. His inked handprint is surrounded by a double-matted collage style background of Edmonton Oiler images. Entire piece measures approximately 36×36″ including the decorative frame, in NM-MT condition. Includes UDA hologram but cert is not present.
