And though Edison may be most famous for the electric light bulb, in our media-saturated culture, perhaps the invention for which were most indebted to the man is his kinetograph or motion picture camera. Between Edison establishing Ohios early affinity with filmmaking and Cincinnati-born, mega-director/producer Steven Spielberg taking the art form into another stratosphere, we wouldnt blame you for thinking of Ohio as, well, entertainments native home.
